“MISTIK” is the story about a group of university students doing a research on the existence of mystical elements in the Malay culture. They are required to document all information in their findings on mystical existence on to film. An eerie, deserted island is chosen for their research. After brief discussions and planning,
finally, only 9 of them have agreed to go on the trip. Most of the class refused to go after hearing haunting stories about the island.

This haunting trip is lead by Shafiq, Aryan (an exchange student from Indonesia), Mona, Anok (an exchange student from Thailand), Rina, Atirah, Hakim, Jeffrey and Tasya. Among these 9 students, Anok is the most sceptical while Rina is the opposite.They are soon prepared for the trip of their lifes-Bayu Biru Island, an island full of mystery and is know to be haunted by the elderly. There, they endured numerous unexplainable obstacles and horrifying tragedy.Amidst scary incidents, they suddenly discovered that Atirah is missing! A frantic search ensued.

All these spine-chilling experiences and spooky encounters are taking its toll on the minds of these students. After what they have been through, they felt that their presence in this place is not very welcomed. But will this discovery be a bit too late?....hold on to your breath….
