'Cinta
Kolestrol' is the tale of
a promised arranged marriage between two families,
Fazira Zaini and Dato'Osman. The two fathers
made the promise when their children ,Fazira
and Yusry were small. Now , after 20 years,
both have grown into young adults. Yusry,
a handsome and educated young man has returned
home from England. Fazira, Dato'Osman's daughter,
on the other hand, has grown into an overweight
and introvert young woman. She is dull and
cares little about the latest fashion and
trends. Conflict erupts between the two when
Yusry feels pressured into keeping the promise
made by his father years before.
He
becames even more stressful when he find out
that Fazira is not as he imagined, and totally
out of his taste and standards. At the same
time, Nadia emerges and tres to steal Yusry
away. Fazira however, tries to get closer to
Yusry,who pushes her and her love away time
and again. He belittles her constantly by telling
her that she is fat and that they are worlds
apart. Time goes by and Yusry goes about life
as normal,until one day he bumps into a beautiful
girl(Fazira,who has changed her identity and
users the name Erra).Yusry is totally captivated
by Erra'beauty.Yusry tries to get closer to
Erra,but all his effort are shunned and pushed
away.He fails to win her heart.One day Dato'Osman
invites Yusry to his house.
There
he discovers Erra's true identity.Yusry refuses
to believe and accept the fact that the young
lady whom he once shunned,was really the girl
of his dreams.Ahamed of his behaviour he tries
to find Fazira to apologise.Yusry admits that
he does not desrve to be with Erra Because of
his past behaviour.However,fate is kind..as
in the end they are brought together,as some
things were just meant to be.
