Perhentian is about Amirul/Amir (Fraid
Kamil) a business man, who frequently faces
problems in his delivery service business. His
company, Amira Corporation had to sell the major
share to Dhani, a friend of Amir. Amir has a
wife, ira(Vanida Imran) who never stops mumbling
which ends up Amir being stressed. Amir and
Mira do not have kids which is another reason
for a poor relationship.
The loss of a courier package worth RM50,000 causes
Amir to be fired by Dhani. When he returns home
and inform Mira of the whole situation, a quarrel
begins between them. Amir has left the house.
By driving the car, Amir heads to south without
a destination. Throughout his journey, Amir stops
at (Tujuh Perhentian) SEVEN different STOPS. At
Nilai, Amir met a mysterious girl named Suraya
(Erra Fazira) who meet eye to eye. There are so
many similarities between Amir and Suraya. They
become close to each other in every stop and Amir
is attracted to Suraya.
Manu incidents happen throughout the journey and
each stop passed by Amir. Who is Suraya actually?
